I live and work on unceded territory of the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk) and Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga (Haudenosaunee) people. I question my relationship to the land I live on and try to take care of it while realizing that colonialism is ongoing in many forms. I question and try to imagine what land back would look like and try in my work to bring about a future where First Nations people have more voice in governing since they care so well for the land. Land back is not an easy idea for settler people such as myself, but I am eager to talk more about it and bring it into action.
